I recently redecorated at home and I decided to go with Colourtrend paint for the interior of the house. They’re an Irish company, based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Their paint is 100% Irish-made and it’s superb – and extremely reasonable in terms of price.
True to their brand name, they have a fantastic colour selection available.
If you’re a lover of soft neutrals, powder blues or rich greens and burgundies, you’ll love the Historic Colours Collection. These shades always make me think of a fabulous Victorian home. And imagine Travelling Chest (below) paired with mahogany furniture? Gorgeous!
Whereas the Contemporary Colour Collection provides a more modern palette, with raspberry, mauve and iced out cream and white shades.
Though, if you’re at a complete loss as to what you want, search the entire colour wheel here. It’s great for seeing tones together, so you can choose a few different, but complimentary, shades for around the house. They have a trio of finishes in each of the paint – interior matte, ceramic matte and soft sheen, to help you get the exact look you want. The website also gives you all of the details – even giving you the drying time!
Colourtrend also provide exterior paint. Remember, these guys know what our weather is like, so they’re aware of how tough this paint needs to be to survive!
