Your beauty regimen shouldn’t go out the window with your workout. So I have some tips and tricks on how to get savvy with your gym beauty bag. Sweat is inevitable, so the right accessories are essential. I love the lululemon range of gym bags, micro towels and headbands at Brown Thomas. They’re sure to make you feel ready for anything. On a side note, up until recently, I was pronouncing it ‘le-moan’, not lemon — what is actually wrong with me?
Being totally make-up free is ideal when it comes to working out, but sometimes that’s not always possible, when you’d like a bit of coverage for a gym selfie.
So, if you do want a base, try a tinted moisturiser or a CC cream like IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream SPF 50+, €39. It gives you coverage and a nice glow, and it won’t clog your pores. If you prefer to take it all off and go naked, Jennifer Rock, AKA The Skin Nerd, has released a limited edition pink The Skin Nerd Cleanse

Dermalogica Redness Relief Essence, €46, is a great one after a workout.
This instantly calms and restores balance to sensitive skin. It’ll visibly reduce post-gym redness and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier with its lightweight consistency of a toner but the concentrated benefits of a serum.
Take a break
On the hunt for some inner calm or a little social-media break? Celebs like Margot Robbie, pictured right, who I bumped into on a recent trip to LA, and even Kendall Jenner, have been known to put down the phone for a chance to recharge.

My sister Laura gave me this great tip for long haul flights to prevent swollen ankles and deep-vein thrombosis. Use your feet to write out the whole alphabet from A to Z. you might get a few funny looks like I did on my way to LA recently!
