Sometimes it really is the simple things.
Elizabeth Arden takes the pure approach to perfumery with their new White Tea fragrance. Clean, fresh and somehow warm, the spray pulls musky, floral and woody aromas together, for a wearable day scent that is both powerful and subtle. With Italian mandarin and clary sage essence, bursts of citrus and aromatic undertones come through after it meets your skin. Deliciously understated.
The perfumers and co-creators Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Guillaume Flavigny and Caroline Sabas have said that “…we wanted to capture that refreshing moment of blissful solace experienced at the first sip of tea.” It’s an interesting concept for a fragrance, but somehow it pulls it off.
This is definitely one for those who prefer clean, linen-like scents. A new, light and airy option for Spring 2017.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Eau de Toilette Spray, €49 for 100ml, will be available from February 2017 at all Elizabeth Arden counters and from ElizabethArden.com.
