Usually showcased in Milan, Emporio Armani brought itself to the London scene last week, fully embracing its place as the younger, more accessible sibling to Armani’s signature label.
It was Italian taste meets London edge, with a runway of pastels, embellishments, silks and sheers, all cut with a nod to a casual street influence.
There were prints with pretty pink, blue and black colour palettes, as well as strong red and white combos. You definitely get the sense that Mr Armani had a bit of fun with this one. There was also a quirky sea life motif running through, if you lookedclosely enough!
The beauty reflected the clothes. It was young, fresh, with a touch of real chic. The models had a natural coverage, lifted with a dust of blush across each cheek.
Eyes were slightly dramatized, sporting smudged smoky eyeliner, with pops of colour, around and under the eye, seemingly enhanced by a touch of highlight. Lips were kept natural, just a touch of very soft pink. Gorg!
