Kiehl’s have two products that I’m completely in love with at the moment and deserve a little attention brought upon them.
The Limited Edition Ultra Facial Cream in partnership with Autism Speaks is the first product I have to rave about. Firstly, the collaboration is a noble one, with Kiehl’s donating €200,000 to the cause. The organisation is dedicated to promoting solutions for the needs of those affected by autism, directly or indirectly and increasing understanding of the condition. Fantastic! Each tub is decorated with colourful and altogether cheerful art by Matthew McConaughey. Of course, when focusing on the product itself, it is nothing short of gorgeous. The cream is ultra-rich and devoid of a strong scent, so it feels both luxurious and natural as you apply. A treasure for those with super dry, moisture-deprived skin.
Key ingredients include Imperata Cylindrica – a desert plant extract – intended to help the skin keep moisture locked in once applied and squalene, a botanical lipid that restores the skin’s moisture balance. Very fancy!
Up next is the delectable Crème de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil. How on earth can something so light feel so luxe? There’s a delicious hint of vanilla that escapes into the air every time you spritz, so I really can’t get enough. Simply spray lightly over the skin after your shower and your skin will be soft as a baby’s… oh, you know what I mean.
Bonus: It takes the hassle out of applying cream in the mornings and you can throw your clothes on straight away. Win-win.
